If you are interested in having a new 1/4 mile dragstrip at the Irwindale Speedway, (located off the 605 fwy between the 10 fwy and the 210 fwy) please attend the next city council meeting in Irwindale to show your support. The Irwindale planning commission has approved the dragstrip, but not the city council. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!!! I know California Speedway is construction a new facility in Fontana but that is a bit far away and hey TWO dragstrips are better than one!
The next city council meeting is thursday August 9, at 6:30pm. Irwindale city hall is located at 5050 N. Irwindale Ave. Please come and help us FIGHT for our local dragstrip. Please pass this along to everyone....post on other forums so we can get a good turnout. Lets get the illegal street racing off the street and onto the track where it belongs.
